CreateArt4Hope: using art to support mental health
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Picasso
His words still ring true and perhaps even more so amid these uncertain and challenging times.
To support front-line mental health charities including Mind, this CreateArt4Hope campaign is aiming to lift the spirits and inspire hope by promoting visual art. This emergency appeal is also fundraising to provide vital support services during this mental health emergency.
Support from well-known artists
The campaign launched by the Visual Arts Association (VAA), is backed by four generous donations of artworks from Emma Rogers, Carne Griffiths, Tammy Walters and Michael Batey. All those who donate to the fund will receive a free set of four beautifully curated prints designed by these artists which are exclusive to the campaign.
Art is continually being created in support of this campaign so it is worth revisiting the CreateArt4Hope website to be inspired by the artwork (and making a donation to receive the free limited edition art).
