Dominic McGinn, a leading sports lawyer, has joined fast-growing North West law firm Hillyer McKeown.
Dominic specialises in sports law and all aspects of commercial dispute resolution. He has been recommended by the Legal 500.
He represents a wide range of clients including Premier League footballers and football agents. He has also acted for SMEs and property developers and agents.
Dominic recently acted on behalf of fitness instructor Sarah Watson against the Manchester United footballer Marcos Rojo which led to the injunction banning his identity being lifted.
Dominic’s appointment builds on Hillyer McKeown’s existing legal work in the sports world which includes image rights, contracts, sponsorship agreements, employment and HR issues and property transactions.
The firm regularly acts for football, rugby and basketball clubs as well as a number of sports industry bodies.
