I have over 10 years’ recruitment experience covering a broad range of industry sectors, including:
- commercial operations
- legal services.
Having been with Hillyer McKeown for a couple of years now, I’ve relished the opportunity of being involved in not only implementing a direct, centralised hiring strategy but also working on developing our employer branding and delivering broader projects.
Projects successfully delivered have included the following:
- The new careers section of our website which better promotes our opportunities and culture
- Working with stakeholders across the business to create and launch our refreshed Values
- Working with our marketing team to increase awareness of a number of key people initiatives.
Raising awareness about our people have included National Apprenticeship Week and International Women’s Day, both campaigns were shortlisted for the Law Society’s Excellence Awards. I’m also a member of our Employee Engagement Committee and enjoy working with a very creative bunch of people on additional internal initiatives and supporting our charity’s activities.
Ultimately, I enjoy hiring talented people and watching them develop and progress.

Outside of work
I enjoy spending a lot of time with my two young children. I’m an avid reader and theatre goer (so am delighted about the addition of Storyhouse to Chester) and also try to attend the odd Boxercise class. My real passion is travel, I love to visit new places and experience different cultures.
