Meet Kathryn Jolly, Solicitor Residential Conveyancing
I am a specialist property solicitor having worked in residential conveyancing since I qualified in 2000. I have enjoyed working with the team at Hillyer McKeown since September 2017 as they continually look for ways to innovate while offering an efficient and cost-effective service.
I believe that every case is individual and I pride myself in being sensitive to what our clients need and their expectations as they buy or sell their property. Communication and sound advice is a big factor in ensuring a smooth transaction. I am meticulous in my approach to work and you can be assured that your biggest financial investment (for most) is in safe hands.
My extensive knowledge and experience allows me to deal confidently with a broad range of situations including:
- Buying or selling property
- Leasehold and freehold property
- New builds
- Shared ownership
- Investment property
- Purchase of property by a company
- Lease extensions
- Transfer of equity
- Help to Buy/Help to Buy ISA
- Acting for executor/attorney/deputy
I act for a number of clients in the Taylor Wimpey Ground Rent Review Assistance Scheme. This involves changing the terms of leases where doubling ground rent clauses were unfairly included in new leases. Conditions do apply but where the scheme applies Taylor Wimpey cover your legal costs. Please get in touch with me to handle your purchase or sale.
Outside of work
I enjoy spending time in Anglesey with family and friends and getting out in a kayak. I like to keep fit with dance fitness classes and am an active volunteer at school events. I also love to travel where I can use my languages. I have studied European Business with French and Spanish, Buckinghamshire College, Brunel University and a Diploma of Law and Legal Practice Course, College of Law, Chester.
