Hillyer McKeown will be hosting two HR & Employment Law events this spring in Chester and Liverpool.
In February, Employment Solicitors Justine Watkinson and David Jones will join with Career Evolution to present a free workshop on ‘The Practical Role of HR in Business’. The two firms delivered this workshop in Chester back in December and it was so successful that it is now being rolled out as a Liverpool workshop, too.
The event will be held on Wednesday 24th February at the Liverpool Masonic Hall, 22 Hope St, Liverpool L1 9BY. It will begin at 8am, when refreshments will be served, and the workshop will start at 8:30am. The event will finish at approximately 10:30am when there will also be opportunity for networking after the session.
Next up, in March, Hillyer McKeown will be hosting a half-day workshop on ‘Managing Capability issues’ in Chester, which will be led by Justine Watkinson. The practical workshop has been designed specifically for HR managers, administrators and front line managers and will look at how to manage the sometimes-tricky scenario of where an employee “can’t do the job because they are not capable” and/or “can’t do the job because of a medical problem or a disability.”
This session will be held on Thursday, 8th March at Gorse Stacks House, George Street, Chester, CH1 3EQ. The cost is £125 + VAT pp. Registration is from 9am and the workshop itself will run from 9:30am – 12:30pm.
